Is the YMCA a nonprofit organization?

Yes, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is a local community, nonprofit organization formed by volunteers in 1878. A volunteer board provides direction to help the Y respond to community needs. Tax deductible contributions from the community make it possible to construct Y facilities as well as provide financial assistance so everyone can participate in Y membership and programs.

What is IBRS?

IBRS is our new Income-based Rate Scale. The Y offers income-based rates for families and individuals. Families with an annual household incomes of $62,500 or less and individuals with an annual household income of $47,500 or less may pay a lower rate. Proof of income is required in the form of a current tax statement. To apply for a lower rate based on income please visit a local branch location.
